About Me

Ita discovered Yoga whilst living in Toronto, Canada in 2001.  Yoga provided the missing link in her awareness of the body mind connection. In her professional careeer she intially trained as an RGN and then staffed at Charing Cross Hospital, London. Further development led her to train as a midwife at Simpson Memorial Maternity Pavillion, Edinburgh where she staffed for six years before returning to Royal Jubilee Maternity Hospital, Belfast. Through this background she has developed a passion for human anatomy and physiology, evolving her understanding of the alignment of mind and body.

Yoga

Yoga is a spirtual and ascetic discipline including breath work, meditation and the adoption of specific bodily postures proving strength, stamina, flexibility, physical and mental wellbeing.

Yoga for Pregnancy

Pregnancy Yoga is a form of Yoga that is designed to complement the needs of a pregnant body during all three trimesters providing the mindset for a calm and confident birth.

Medical Yoga

Medical Yoga is a type of Yoga practice which combines traditional Hatha Yoga with medical diagnosis and therapeutic techniques to address illness and disease.
